Our client, Oppidan Investment, enlisted our help with the Friendly Hills Marketplace project in Whittier, California. This new 9-acre shopping center had over 90,000 square feet of buildings. Assisting them with schematic design, entitlements, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration, we helped Oppidan achieve its goals. The tenants for the building were Orchard Supply Hardware, Home Goods, Sketchers, Ulta Beauty, and two in-line shell buildings. The project started in April of 2015, and the shops opened less than two years later, in January 2017. We sped through the entitlements process and helped our clients at Oppidan open ahead of schedule.
